Muskegon Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park Project-Phase 2
On Monday, October 29, the 5th year apprentice class worked with the IBEW local 275 retirrees once again to complete the wiring of the pavilion. This
involved digging trenches to supply the structure as well as from the structure to an outlet near the memorial itself. This effort was aided by Newkirk Electric who provided the trenching
equipment. This project was done as part of the JATC's community service program, and provided an excellent in-the-field training opportunity for both classes.
Muskegon Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park Project
On Tuesday, October 23 the 2nd Year apprentice class assisted several local 275 retirees in wiring the pavilion at the veterans park located just off Seaway Drive and Grand Haven Rd as you come into Muskegon on I-96. Helping to coordinate the project and supply materials was John Belasco of Belasco Electric.
Another phase of the project will be held on Monday, October 29 when the 5th year apprentices will work with the retirees to install the underground feed to the pavilion. Newkirk Electric will be providing a trencher to assist with this part of the project.
