JATC Staff / Committee Members
David works directly with the Committee to administrate the program. He started in the electrical field in the Naval Nuclear Power Program (1988-1994), then came through this program. He became a licensed Master Electrican in 2000. He completed the National Training Institute Instructor porgam at the University of Tennessee in 2003.
Dave is a certified Red Cross 1st Aid/CPR Trainer, OSHA 10/30 Safety Trainer, NFPA 70E Trainer, and has taught all five years of the NJATC curriculum.
Jean works with the Training Director to process applications, track apprentice progress through each program, ensure each apprentice is registered and indentured properly, etc... She also performs other office duties as necessary to keep the program running smoothly and to serve our Local 275 membership and signatory contractors.
Tim has been a licensed Master Electrician since 1997. He has completed the National Training Institute for Electrical instructor training at the University of Michigan in 2011. He as previously worked as a journeyman, foreman, and general foreman on a variety of commercial and industrial projects.
Tim resides in Traverse City, Michigan where he is a member of IBEW Local 498. In addition to his duties at the JATC in Coopersville, Tim is also the Training Director / instructor at the TC-JATC. He has also been a member of the Executive Board and the Examining Board for IBEW Local 498 as well as a member for six years of the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee.
